All,
I hope everyone enjoyed the BBQ yesterday that attended! I hope to have photos on our site soon!
(Please see the PRC information at the end-we need committee members!)
This is a reminder that the private streets will be cleaned Wed., June 2nd from 8am-5pm.
Here is what the postcard stated that was mailed out:
Please be advised that the BOD has awarded a contract to Gettier Commercial, Inc. to remove the sand, trash and other debris from the streets and parking areas.
This process will require residents to move their cars. The scheduled date is as follow, but is subject to change due to inclement weather:
Streets affected on parking include:
Danube Way
Clementine Way
Courtyard Way
Slippery Rock
Clubhouse and Pool Parking Lot circle
If it rains, the project will be rescheduled and the date will be posted on the Westmarket HOA website (www.westmarkethoa.com).
All vehicles will need to be moved from the common are parking spaces and roadways by 8:00am, however, the parking areas will be reopened after 5:00pm.
Although the contractor is able to work around vehicles, any damage to unmoved vehicles will be the responsibility of the owner of the vehicle.
Thank you for your cooperation!
VDOT streets:
If you live on a VDOT street-we have called and asked for your streets to be cleaned. They do not give us a date or time but put it on their list. Please feel free to call and request this also as the more they hear from you the better off we are.
Vandalism Report:
I have received a report that someone was pounding on neighbors front doors and denting them with some kind of object. This is not the first report of this. This has happened in all three sections over the past few months. Keep on the lookout and pass the word. If you hear unusually odd noises in the middle of the night or during the day please check it out –peak out your windows and call the police as needed.
The PRC needs you!
The Pool and Rec Committee has formed and needs members!
In particular, we currently only have one member and we would love to have residents from all three sections particularly those who will be frequenting the pool or ball courts this summer join the committee so we can better reflect the needs of the committee.
It is a committee that meets mainly during the summer months. They make recommendations for the pool company we hire, pool rules updates, any items bought for the pool such as the tables, chairs, umbrellas and other equipment, all improvements/repairs needed/done for the pool, clubhouse, ball courts located at the pool, and clubhouse rental.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Kevin Ege at westmarketpool@sequoiamanagement.com for more information.
Thank you,
Cyndie
